A House That Rests
Hi, I’m Beth—and alongside my husband Daniel, we’re on a journey of rediscovering the rhythm of rest that God built into creation from the very beginning.
We’re not here as experts—we’re here as people who simply said yes to the invitation of Shabbat. We’ve both walked through the church world, grown up under pews, attended Sunday after Sunday... and still, something was missing. It wasn’t until we stopped striving and started Shabbatin’ that we discovered the peace and power of God's appointed rhythm.
We Be Shabbatin’ isn’t just a catchy name. It’s our weekly reminder that this life of faith isn’t lived out by performance, but by presence—and rest.

What This Blog Is About: Returning to the Rhythm
This blog is a space for all of us—especially those just beginning the journey—to rediscover the beauty and simplicity of the biblical Sabbath. You’ll find reflections on Shabbat, Scripture insights, printable guides, blessings to speak over your home, and encouragement for living a set-apart life in a restless world.
It’s not about doing it perfectly. It’s about remembering that God called this day holy, and He never took it back. Every post is a piece of our journey, and an invitation for you to begin your own.
What to Expect: One Yes at a Time
Each week, we’ll share:
New blog posts tied to the Shabbat rhythm
Devotional thoughts and Scripture meditations
Free printable resources to help you welcome Shabbat into your home
Encouragement for living set apart in a fast-paced world
And soon, we’ll introduce digital events, workshops, and weekly guides to help you walk this out, not just learn about it.
Let’s Rest Together
We’re so glad you’re here. We believe with all our hearts that your yes to rest is going to open more doors than striving ever could. So let this blog be a spark, a soft place, and a steady rhythm that leads you deeper into the rest of God.
Shabbat Shalom,
Daniel & Beth
